This pattern combines a simple shape with the fine finishing techniques of a designer bag. It’ll take budding bag-maker’s sewing skills to the next level, and the result is a great bag to impress friends, family and passers-by!

You Will Need:
Between 1.5 to 2 metres* of115cm wide, light to medium-weight, woven fabric
Or between 1 to1.5 metres* of 150cm wide fabric.
20cm x 115cm or 90cm medium weight iron-on interfacing (for medium to heavy fabric). For light fabric you will need as much interfacing as you have main fabric.
80cm to 1.5 metres of 115cm wide lining fabric *
*The more large pockets you include in the bag design – inside and out – the more fabric you’ll need. Quantities listed are the minimum and maximums needed to make the bag

2 x 19mm magnetic catches
20cm/8” zip for the inside pocket.
51- 56cm /20-22” zip for the top of the bag
10cm x 44cm Template (stencilling) Plastic for bag base.
10.5cm Vilene S520 (or other very firm pelmet interfacing) for bag base

O-rings, d-rings, square rings, slide adjusters, eyelets and/or polypropylene webbing and plastic fittings.
