Shell Purse - Kit for cotton fabrics


This easy-to-make purse frame purse looks super-sweet in printed cotton fabrics.  It can be super-girly or elegant.  Plain and simple or with pleated or gathered drape detail.

The frame is stiched on with seed beads, which you can match to any colour fabric you choose.

Difficulty: Intermediate sewing skills

KISS PURSE KIT CONTAINS:
Pattern, Instruction booklet,
100mm curved purse frame, 50cm x 20cm Medium-light interfacing,
50cm x 20cm light (H630) fusible wadding,
50cm x 20cm Medium-heavy woven interfacing 

YOU WILL NEED:
Seed beads to match the frame or your fabric
Polyester thread to match fabric/beads
 20cm x 50cm fabric for the purse body PLUS 20cm x 50cm fabric for lining
40cm x 60cm fabric for draped overlay (if using)

For the (optional) strap/handle: 30cm (8mm)polyester boning or (5-6mm) piping cord
1 x small swivel hook (if making a detachable strap)
HANDY TOOLS:  Tailors awl, fabric marker, 6mm bias tape maker, 25mm bias tape maker, pinking shears.
