This little 1950s-inspired bib is quick to make and is a lovely gift for babies. It's incredibly practical because it fits like an apron and babies can't pull it off! Adding a cute contrast pocket (to catch food spills) is an optional extra.
YOU WILL NEED:
35cm (14") light towelling (terry cloth)
(eg. a cheap bath or hand towel)
35cm (14") main fabric
25 - 40cm (10" - 16") contrast fabric for binding
or 2.25m (2.5 yards) ready-made 18mm (3/4") bias binding
Thread to match your binding fabric
For the Pocket (optional) -
8cm (4") contrast fabric
8cm (4") towelling (to line the pocket)
