Clutch with variations

Pattern No. BO333 - $17.60

A perfect purse to match a special occasion outfit, or a simple daytime purse.

You will learn how to construct a bag with a one-piece gusset, and you can also learn to make flat and corded straps.

Bag size: (widest point)26 x 13 x 3cm

MATERIALS LIST - What you will need

Silk clutch purse with yo-yo's and pearls with corded rouleaux straps (instructions included)
Use co-ordinating patchwork fabrics for a "shabby-chic" look.
Add a strap (instructions included) and a hand-stitched rouleaux trim.
These purses all have medium-light interfacing, and medium fusible wadding to give "stand up" structure to the fine fabric. The purse closes 14mm magnetic snaps.
Make the bag without a gusset to make a simple 'envelope' style purse. This one has chinese brocade with a piped edge on the flap.
A piece of petersham ribbon is used for a strap.

This Japanese fabric clutch purse is made as a simple 'envelope' style (without the gusset).
