You will learn to make a split in a side seam (so that the narrow top of the bag opens wider), make overlay pockets and internal compartment pockets.

MATERIALS LIST - What you will need

The front pocket of this black bag is used as a 'canvas' for a machine-embroidered design.

These bags are made with medium-light interfacing to give structure to the fabric. They have plastic handles and 14mm Magnetic snaps. There is an internal zip pocket as well as a compartment pocket.

A simple button with a loop (attached at the top of the bag) make a design feature on this bag.

A zipped patch pocket is added to the outside of this cotton print bag.

You can also "box" the bottom corners of the bag to make it have a box-like shape rather than being flat, and you can add straps.
